Whenever I hear the word “raw” what goes to my mind is complete “ewweeeness” except for some sushi, sashimi and steak tartare (raw beef which I tried just once in “Pah-reeh”). I thought about raw pancreas and other intestines when I hear the word. But I have discovered that there is something beautiful and beneficial with “raw” and by that word Mrs. Aileen de Guzman, a green living advocate and chef means something else ~ a discovery to a new world of eating delights.
By raw, it means eating cold and uncooked food which I’m sure most of us can’t imagine ourselves doing. Simply because we are used to consuming hot, cooked and even conveniently fast but unhealthy foods nowadays. But many people are not aware of its benefits such as:

BUCKWHEAT GRANOLA

SPINACH AND PARSLEY MANICOTTI

BEET RAVIOLI

ZUCCHINI CANAPES

RAW PIZZA

FRUIT ROLL UPS (Everybody’s favorite because it’s dessert - sweet and chocolatey)
